Purchase processing problems
Due to technical problems at our payment handling provider paddle.com it's currently not possible to purchase licenses for Vectoraster or Patternodes.
Paddle has acknowleged the problems and are saying that they are working on a solution, you can follow the status of this at their status page. Or you can simply come back a little later here and see if the purchase links have started working again. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope this will be resolved swiftly.
Update: The problems have now been resolved and purchasing should work as usual again.
New development feature feedback system
We get a lot of feedback and great ideas from you users. This is always very useful, as it helps us understand how the software is used and how we can make it better.
To make it easier to send feedback we've now set up a new simple system for this to help guide the future development of our applications. Basically it's just a simple list, linked from each product page, with ideas for future features. In this list you can then just click to vote on the features you think would be most useful to you.
If you're interested you can also sign up with your e-mail, and if you do we'll notify you if any of the features you've voted for are implemented.

New RSS feeds for version updates
All product version history pages now have RSS feeds, so you can subscribe and get notified via your RSS reader of choice when new versions are released.

Product pages updated with news feed
Another round of improvements to the website have now been deployed. This time focused on the app product pages, which now have embedded news feeds filtered by tag. So now you can easily see recent updates to a particular product, right on the page for the product.
Website and license system downtime
For a couple of hours today June 11 there were problems at our server causing the lostminds.com website and our license system to be unreachable. In other words you couldn't access the website, download or update your software or unlock newly purchased installations. In some cases it might also have reverted old installations to demo mode if they hadn't been used for a long time.
The problem has now been resolved, and all systems are up and running. We're sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you.
More Support and website updates
There have now been some further updates to the website, with some changes to the style and layout along with updates to the News and Support sections, with added functionality to filter news per product and with more support informations and resources.
There are some more changes planned, but instead of doing them all at once they're going to be implemented little by little. So if you see something that looks out of place or a little strange, it'll hopefully be fixed shortly and it's just a temporary consequence of something new and hopefully better being rolled out.
New version management system
There's now a new version management system in place for the applications on lostminds.com. This will manage all downloads, updates and version change logs. There were a couple of hours during the shift to the new system that updates were unavailable, but now everything should be working again.
While you might not notice much difference right now, this will hopefully make releases of future updates smoother and information across different channels more consistent.
GDPR, privacy and data usage
As you're all probably very aware of the EU data protection directive GDPR is now in effect and puts new requirements on organizations to be transparent about their data collection and usage. Here's a short version of what we collect and use:
- Website visits and downloads are tracked only on our own server using Matomo, no big-data/third party analytics or ads. This information is only used to track product popularity and discover problems on the website.
- Mac product purchases are handled by Paddle and we keep and maintain a database of your license information so that we know who owns the software.
- Mac product usage is tracked when unlocking and upgrading our mac products, we log these checks along with software and macOS versions to keep track of software usage and detect piracy attempts and problems with updates.
In all these cases IP addresses are masked and no information is sold or shared with a third party. There are now links to this information in our software and on all our web pages, you can find out more detailed information below.
Website updated
The lostminds.com website has now been given a bit of an overhaul. Most of the work has been under the hood, but the front end has also been updated a little to work better on mobile and be quicker to navigate.
Most things should still be in the same place, and old links should still work or be re-directed automatically. But there are sure to be a couple of little quirks and broken links left in that we'll fix in the coming days. So if you run into something like that, please be patient.
Download packages updated
We've now updated the new signed download .dmg packages a little to resolve some problems and provide a smoother installation process.
If you were having problems downloading the Vectoraster 7.0.5 update the last few days, sorry about that and please try again now.
