Updates and upgrades
All licenses for Vectoraster and Patternodes are one time purchases that grant you the right to use the software as long as you can. This also includes free updates of the same major version (as in Vectoraster 7.x.x if you have a license for Vectoraster 7) for as long as such updates are released.
If and when a new major version update is released (for example Vectoraster 7 after Vectoraster 6), this will not be a free upgrade, but there is a much cheaper upgrade license you can purchase to upgrade if you own a license for the previous version. Apart from being cheaper and requiering a license for a previous version these upgrade licenses are the same as the full price new user licenses.
For educational institutions like schools or universities, there are special license offers that allow all students and staff to user the software at a greatly reduced price.
Payments and purchase process
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all payment customer service inquiries and handles returns.
After you complete your purchase you will immediately be given access to your license codes and information on how to unlock the full version of your software. You will also be sent two e-mails from Paddle to the address you've specified. One receipt for your records and one containing your license code and unlocking information.
If you are a software reseller purchasing licenses for a customer, for smaller orders (<50 licenses) we recommend that you use the regular online paddle purchase system on the product pages to purchase the licenses in your name. When this purchase is complete you can then contact us and we can transfer the licenses to be linked to your end user customer e-mail, and give you the updated license codes and information that you can relay to your customer.
Large organization purchasing
For larger orders we can offer a bulk order discounts if the number of licenses is high enough and also accept payment via purchase order / invoice. The purchase will still technically be done via Paddle.com as they are the merchant of record and act as our reseller. If you require this we can provide you with their tax information such as the US W-8 BEN-E tax form that some organisations require.
